Front Desk and Housekeeping Attendant

Help keep our park clean, welcoming, and running smoothly for every guest . This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys both guest interaction and hands-on work. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Position Overview

You’ll handle guest check-ins and front desk duties while ensuring cabins and park facilities stay spotless. The role blends customer service, light administration, and housekeeping to keep Prairie Junction running smoothly and looking great.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front Desk & Guest Services

  • Greet guests and manage check-ins/check-outs using Campspot.
  • Process payments for reservations, firewood, ice, and concessions.
  • Answer questions about amenities, Prairie Railway tickets, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and enforce park rules courteously.
  • Distribute and collect shower, restroom, and laundry access cards.
  • Keep the front office tidy, organized, and stocked with concession and guest supplies.

2. Housekeeping & Facility Cleaning

  • Clean and reset cabins and RV’s after guest check-outs (sweep, mop, sanitize, restock, replace linens/make beds, remove garbage).
  • Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry areas daily and restock as needed.
  • Clean and santizize hydrotherapy area: hot tub, cold plunge, sauna as needed and in line with maintenance log
  • Keep the event center clean before and after events (floors, counters, garbage).Perform quick cleanliness checks throughout the day in high-traffic areas.
  • Support light maintenance or report facility issues to management.
  • Bag and label ice, stock vending/concession items.

3. General Upkeep & Seasonal Support

  • Water flowers and maintain front entry appearance.
  • Help with snow shoveling or ice removal in winter.
  • Assist with event setup/teardown or deep cleaning on rainy days.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or customer service preferred.
  • Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable using booking or POS system
  • Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
