Assistant RV Park Manager

About Us: We are a welcoming and innovative RV park in the heart of Alberta , offering a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests year round. We are growing the camping experience with hydrotherapy (sauna's, hot tubs, cold plunges) and are looking for a dedicated and proactive Assistant RV Park Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure the park is well-maintained, and provide excellent customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Park Oversight:
• Manage day-to-day operations of the RV park.
• Monitor occupancy and manage reservations.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintenance:
• Supervise the upkeep of park facilities, ensuring they are safe and clean.
• Perform light maintenance tasks as needed or coordinate with external contractors for repairs.
• Janitorial Duties:
• Ensure reception, restrooms, showers, hydrotherapy unit, Cabins/Tents/ RV Rentals are cleaned and maintained at all times.
• Address any cleaning issues promptly to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Jump in to support housekeeping where needed
• Staff Management:
• Oversee a team of up to 3 staff members, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Provide training and guidance to maintain quality service standards.
• Ensure staff are using appropriate handbooks for daily cleaning and maintenance
• Administrative Tasks:
• Track park expenses and occupancy rates.
• Assist with marketing initiatives to attract new guests.
• Assist with event management and community events.
• Prepare reports on park performance and submit them to management.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in park management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience with CampSpot an asset.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Basic maintenance and handyman abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks (e.g., managing reservations, email communication).

Work Schedule:This position requires weekend coverage from 8:00am- 4:00pm or 3:00-9:00pm depending on staffing requirements. The successful candidate will be required to work part time and may be able to take on additional shifts as and where needed.
