Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in surface preparation, powder application, and curing processes, with a strong eye for detail and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and clean metal surfaces for coating (sandblasting, masking, degreasing).
• Apply powder coating using spray equipment according to specifications.
• Operate curing ovens and monitor baking times/temperatures.
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of coating materials, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
