As the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership’s parts operations. This includes managing inventory, supervising the parts team, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring proper ordering and distribution of parts, and delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and internal customers (service and sales departments).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, receiving, stocking, and sales.
  • Lead, train, and supervise parts staff to ensure high levels of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain optimal parts inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with service and sales departments to support vehicle repairs, warranty claims, and accessories sales.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, billing, and parts documentation.
  • Monitor parts department performance through KPIs and implement process improvements where needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager in a dealership or automotive environment.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with DMS systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.).
  • Proficient in inventory management and forecasting.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
