WestMET is looking for temporary workers to help with the demand for Humilite sales.
This position would run from March until October, depending on demand and weather.
Starting wage $37.84/hour
Responsible for the safe operation of major earth moving equipment including:
- Track Dozers
- Track Excavators
- Large Front-End Loaders
- Motor Graders
- Haul Truck
- Water Trucks
Operating and maintaining various screening equipment, forklifts, and loading trucks.
The position requires boarding and de-boarding equipment and accessing inspection points to perform machine inspections. Work will be completed in varying extremes of environmental conditions with exposure to dust, noise, and adverse weather.
Work may be performed on a multi-shift rotation. The schedule may include weekend work and work weeks above 40 hours.
Duties require some moderate laboring of repetitivesustained physical effort:
- Walking
- Climbing
- Sweeping
- Shoveling
- Service jobs,
- Minor mechanical duties or standing on uneven terrain
- Lifting and carrying of materials up to 50 pounds.
Work must be performed in strict compliance withall Company, Provincial, and Federal policies, rules, and regulations.
