We are currently seeking a Hot Oil Unit Operator or we are willing to train and a Class 1 Winch Truck Driver
***We are willing to train the right candidate - To apply as a trainee you MUST possess a Class 3 License with 1 year experience
Candidates must be local to Drumheller or Central Alberta
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR HOT OILER OPERATOR:
- Driving truck with a total capacity in excess of 3 tons
- Operating high-pressure pump and burner for heating fluids, using controls such as levers, pedals and buttons
- Operating high-pressure pump to circulate hot oil or water down flowlines, tubing and casing to melt and remove paraffin build-up
- Operating high-pressure pump to test the integrity of tubing and casing
- Observing equipment gauges and indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions
- Carrying and laying out hoses and joints of pipe from the truck to the wellhead or battery
- Connecting and disconnecting hoses and joints of pipe using hand tools
- Following safe operating procedures according to specifications of jobs and equipment specifications of loads and equipment
- Repairing, maintaining and adjusting equipment, often using hand tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a valid Class 3Q License. Drivers abstract will be requested with an interview
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Basic problem solving and organizational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WINCH TRUCK OPERATOR:
Minimum 3 year Commercial driving experience, 5 years preferred, transporting equipment, various tanks and winch over dimensional loads utilizing trailers, jeep or cradles.

- Ensure proper loading and offloading of equipment
- Follow Load Securement regulations
- Follow and apply company policies and procedures
- Ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order at all times and report deficiencies to maintenance staff
