Journeyman Agricultural Technician

As an Agricultural Service Technician, you play a vital role in keeping our customers’ equipment running at peak performance. From diagnosing complex mechanical issues to completing repairs and preventative maintenance, you bring the technical expertise that keeps farms moving. This position is ideal for a motivated, hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and thrives in a collaborative team environment. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of agricultural equipment while delivering timely, cost-effective solutions our customers can rely on. Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is preferred. Familiarity with CLAAS equipment is considered a strong asset.

Diagnostics & Repair

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on equipment • Perform diagnosis and repairs in the field as required • Utilize computers to research parts and technical information

Workplace Standards & Asset Care

• Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment • Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly manner • Follow all safety rules and regulations when performing work assignments

Documentation & Accountability

• Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments • Accurately account for all time and materials used in assigned duties

Customer & Product Support

• Support customer clinics • Maintain current knowledge of company competitive products

Competencies & Qualifications

  • Red Seal certification and/or Journeyperson ticket would be considered an asset in on-road/off-road Heavy Equipment OR Agricultural Technician. International certification will also be considered.
  • Must be registered with the Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship or Agricultural Equipment Technician Apprenticeship with one year of schooling and hours completed
  • Possess problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail with strong planning, organizational and communication skills
  • Be available to work on weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays during peak seasons
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to operate a forklift considered an asset
