Disability Support Worker (Residential and/or Community Support Worker)
Part time: days, weekends, overnights, in the home of the individual.

- Fisher Farm Residential Association Ltd. (FFRA) is seeking a professional and responsible individual for an exciting opportunities working with a dependent adult with developmental disabilities in all aspects of their daily living.
- FFRA is a non profit organization that has been providing support and services to individuals in Olds and surrounding areas for 30+ years.
- FFRA is recruiting for positions in Three Hills, Alberta.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure individual has adequate support while focusing on independence and autonomy with home living.
- Responsible for various medical and daily needs of individual.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
- Personal care and hygiene while respecting individual dignity.
- Maintenance of safe and personalized homes.
- Carry out all aspects of the person’s Individual Support Plan and help achieve goals.
- Medication administration and documentation
The Choice Candidate:
- Ability to work scheduled shifts; which includes working, day, evening, overnight sleep and weekend hours.
- Current drive’s license, reliable vehicle and carry 2 million liability insurance
- A clean Criminal Record Check.
- Experience and education/courses related to working with people with disabilities; specifically with mental health and/or FASD and Autism
- Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset but can be obtained upon commencement of employment.
- Basic computer skills, strong oral and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated maturity and responsibility.
- Effective problem solving skills.
- Willingness and desire to learn.
