HCA – working within the scope of practice of Alberta HCA’s providing basic personal care (bath and dress assist) one on one to the elderly and chronically ill in the community. MUST have HCA certification and be willing to drive to see rural clients (mileage paid).
WEEKDAYS ONLY – NO EVES, WKNDS or STATS
WAGE is $20.00/hr - minimum one hour visit for each client
MILEAGE for rural clients is .50km and intown clients mileage is paid on a sliding scale based on hours worked – MUST be willing to drive to see rural clients in this position
WHAT: Working with seniors to help them live their best lives safely in their own homes.
DUTIES: Basic personal care (dress and bath assist) as noted above, plus companionship, light housekeeping, errand services, grocery shopping, meal preparation, transporting to local appointments or accompanying them to out of town appointments on public transportation.
MUST enjoy working with the elderly.
MUST be dependable.
MUST have a valid class 5 Drivers License and a dependable vehicle
MUST submit a clear Criminal Record Check
