Our Service Division has one of the largest fleets of mechanic service trucks in Western Canada, operated by one of the most experienced teams of heavy duty mechanics, with coverage across Alberta reaching into Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Our Structures Division is a premium manufacturer of polyurethane panel buildings and distributor of wholesale polyurethane panels for the oilfield and construction industries with coverage across Canada and USA.

We are now seeking a full-time employee for the following position required for the Stettler Office:

ACCOUNTANT / FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

As the successful candidate you will be responsible to perform/oversee standard accounting duties in a multi-divisional decentralized environment, including but not limited to;

  • Monthly Financial Statement Preparation and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • General Ledger and Sub-Ledger Maintenance
  • Budgeting and Forecasting by Branch and Total Company
  • Reporting and Analysis of Cash Flow Position
  • Guidance and Management for Financial Aspect of Support Functions: AP, AR, Payroll, Servicing Writing, Inventory
  • Manage and Coordinate Audit/Review with External Accounting Firm
  • Manage and Monitor Working Capital: AR, AP, Inventory, WIP
  • Report and File all Tax Requirements: Federal, Provincial, GST, PST, HST
  • Control and User Support for Syteline

Qualifications:

The following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Proven Experience as an Accountant or Financial Controller in a similar role.
  • ERP System Experience, Syteline or Similar, minimum 5+ years
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel Skills
  • Supervisory Experience
