The Drumheller& District Chamber of Commerce is seeking customer service focused employees to serve visitors and customers at the World’s Largest Dinosaur, Giftshop and Visitor Information Centre. Tourism Services Representatives will welcome and help create positive experiences for visitors to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operational duties in Giftshop including customer service, till operations, cash handling and merchandising
- Day-to-day operational duties in Visitor Information Centre including responding to visitor inquiries, maintaining tourism literature and accommodation board and tracking of visitor statistics
- Daily janitorial duties associated with the building, as well as the grounds surrounding the World’s Largest Dinosaur and Visitor Information Centre
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Cash handling experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new computer applications
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of tourism within Drumheller and area
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Assets:
- First aid certification
- Second language
Term: Full-time permanent, to start as soon as possible
Compensation:
- Wage:$18-20/hour
