Temporary Liquor Team Member

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, the Liquor Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core values and Brand:

  • Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s policies and procedures and participating in the Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto.
  • Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location, adhering to brand standards
  • Operative till/handling cash
  • Stocking shelves as required and making necessary deliveries
  • Other projects and assignments as required.

This position requires the use of equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting of product (up to 50lbs unassisted).

Who you are:

We are looking for a positive, approachable, and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Liquor product knowledge is an asset
  • Must obtain ProServe Certification
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
  • Professional, people-first, Guest service skills
  • Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork)
  • Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Quality communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others

This is a Temporary Part-time position (June 2025 through September 2025) The successful candidate will have the ability to work days, evenings and weekends for approximately 5-15 hours per week.
