Help keep our park clean, welcoming, and running smoothly for every guest who stops in. You’ll take pride in maintaining the grounds, handling small repairs, and making sure everything looks great and works right. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and perform general facility repairs and upgrades on buildings, event centers, decks, fences, cabins, etc as per owners instruction.
  • Inspect structures for safety, wear, and necessary upgrades.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors for specialized work.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Adhere to daily maintenance checklist and log activity in Campspot.
  • All purchases or credit card transactions must be communicated to and approved by the owners in advance.
  • Record service logs for maintenance in appropriate format.

Cabin & Facility Cleaning

  • Cabin Cleaning After Rentals:
  • Clean and reset 4 cabins after check-outs (sweep, mop, wipe surfaces, change linens, restock supplies).
  • Take out garbage and check for damages.

Restroom, Shower & Laundry Cleaning:

  • Quick checks routinely throughout the day assessing cleanliness of: shower houses,bath rooms, laundromat, and event center(if in use).
  • Deep clean men's & women's restrooms/showers daily.
  • Sweep/mop and disinfect the laundry house.
  • Restock soap, toilet paper, and other supplies in restrooms/laundry.

Event Center Cleaning (As Needed):

  • Sweep/mop the event center and take out garbage before and after events.
  • Clean countertops, stove, cabinets
  • General cleaning of facility

Groundskeeping & Waste Management

  • Garbage & Fire Pit Maintenance:
  • Empty site garbage bins (check daily, empty as needed).
  • Clean fire pits after check-outs (remove debris, rake area if necessary).
  • Ice & Firewood:
  • Keep up with bagging ice and stocking the ice machine.
  • Ensure the firewood shed is always stocked and tidy.
  • Landscaping & Seasonal Upkeep:
  • Grass cutting (once every two weeks or as needed to maintain visible integrity of park).
  • Trim bushes/weeds as needed.
  • Water flowers, grass
  • Winter Duties:
  • Snow removal (use Bobcat for roads, shovel walkways & key areas).

Equipment & Mechanical Maintenance

  • Vehicle & Machinery Maintenance:
  • Bobcat, mowers, & generators – Regular oil changes, inspections, and minor repairs.
  • Small engines (weed trimmers, chainsaws, etc.) – Keep fueled and maintained.
  • HVAC & Furnace Upkeep:
  • Check and maintain furnaces, water heaters, and propane heating systems.
  • Replace furnace filters and ensure proper ventilation.
  • Ice Machine & Vending Equipment:
  • Clean and sanitize the ice machine to prevent mold buildup.
  • Regularly check vending machines for stock and troubleshoot minor issues.

Plumbing & Electrical Monitoring:

  • Inspect and maintain electrical, water, and sewer hookups.
  • Check bathroom and laundry plumbing for leaks or blockages.
  • Unclog toilets, drains where possible and escalate to preferred plumbing contractor.
  • Ensure proper hot water heater function in showers.

Emergency Repairs & Safety Checks:

  • Monitor and report major repair needs to you for contractor involvement.
  • Check fire extinguishers & emergency lighting throughout the park.

Wildlife encounters and pest control:

  • Manage insects, rodents, pests on site
  • Contact fish and wildlife officer to report wildlife sightings and disturbances

Seasonal Adjustments

  • On rainy days, focus will be on indoor deep cleaning & mopping.
  • Cabin turnovers will be prioritized after check-outs. If there is limited capacity, RV Park Manager will assist during peak turnover days.
  • Weekend Priority Tasks:
  • Restroom and laundry cleaning will be done multiple times per day if guest traffic is high.

Winter Adjustments:

  • Snow removal becomes a top priority.
  • Increased furnace checks to ensure no outages in cabins, restrooms, and main office.
  • Reduced landscaping duties.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Former RV Park Maintenance experience strongly prefferred.
  • Experience in construction, carpentry, or facility maintenance.
  • Experience in residential and facility renovations, including plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, painting, and drywall.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve structural issues.
  • Experience operating and servicing equipment; lawn mowers, weedwacker, bobcat, golf cart
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Must be in good physical condition for hands-on work.
