Restaurant Server

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing orders and ensuring high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with care.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding menu items.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
