Kneehill Regional Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) requires a Program Coordinator starting September 22, 2025. This is a permanent part-time position (27 hours/week)responsible for working with the Director to provide preventive social programming support and resources to enhance the well-being of Kneehill area individuals, families and communities. The position will organize a variety of FCSS programs and support other programs FCSS administers. This position will include occasional evenings or weekends for events and meetings.
Responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with a wide variety of individuals, groups and communities
- Providing client navigation support by assisting individuals with accessing and navigating various services and resources
- Providing information and referral to community members and allied service agencies
- Assisting with the planning, organizing, implementing, maintaining and evaluating of FCSS programs, services and special projects
- Working as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Training/education in the Human Services field would be an asset
- An understanding of preventive and social programming
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
- Highly effective organizational and time management skills
- Experience with program planning
- Criminal Record and Children Services Intervention checks
- Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
