We are hiring a pharmacy Assistant (experience preferred) who is excited to work in an independently owned Pharmacy in a small town setting where you can get to know your clients.
We can be flexible in finding a work schedule that works for you.

Applicants without prior experience/certification who may still have the skills to excel would be apt with technology/computers, have attention to detail, be a good "team-player", and be a very polite/proficient communicator.
Duties include processing and preparing orders from patients, communicating with insurance companies to help facilitate direct billing for patients, helping maintain accurate inventory, and some light duty cleaning.
Work with a pharmacy team who are focused on patient care. If you are seeking experience before considering further education as a pharmacy technician or pharmacist this would also be considered an asset.
We are a busy pharmacy that prioritizes having time to talk with our clients. We are open 9-6 weekdays, 9-5 Saturdays (usually no assistants working on Saturdays) and closed Sundays and Holidays.
Alix is a small town near lakes and other recreation. It is located about a half hour east of Red Deer or Lacombe.
