Overview
We’re looking for an Apprentice or Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team! You’ll be installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a mix of commercial and residential settings. If you’ve got solid mechanical know-how, enjoy troubleshooting, and like working on different types of equipment, you’ll fit right in — there’s always something new to work on.

Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, make-up air, and refrigeration systems following safety standards and schematics
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, MUAs, and cold-side equipment like walk-in coolers/freezers, display cases, chillers, and ice machines
  • Inspect systems to spot issues or inefficiencies
  • Repair or replace parts such as valves, motors, and thermostats
  • Use schematics and manuals to accurately diagnose problems
  • Work with construction crews during new installs or upgrades
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed
  • Be willing to work overtime, weekends, and take part in an on-call rotation

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Experience with HVAC installation and maintenance
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and technical diagrams
  • Solid understanding of construction practices related to HVAC work
  • Great problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and in constantly changing environments
  • Relevant HVAC certifications or licenses
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
