Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our food & beverage team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests’ satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the food industry is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their hospitality skills. A strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures is essential to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus promptly upon seating
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and special requests
- Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, including serving or barista roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other staff members
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and handling protocols
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic beverage preparation skills are a plus
- Hospitality-oriented attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
