Summary:
Under the general supervision from the Director of Parks and Leisure Services, the Facilities, Promotions and Events Coordinator leads the coordination, promotion, and utilization of municipal facilities while planning and delivering community events, recreation programming, and partnership initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors. The Facilities, Promotions and Events Coordinator provides leadership in the planning and delivery of community events, facility marketing, sponsorship development, recreation programming, and community partnerships. The position will also support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the department’s asset management program. This position is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data related to department infrastructure, including facilities, equipment and other community assets.
