Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. The Automotive Technician will work closely with customers to provide exceptional service while diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
• Assemble parts and systems as required for repairs or upgrades.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• Will consider a 3 or 4th year automotive apprentice.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Small engine experience is an asset.
