Answering Service Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Call Management: Answer incoming calls, greet callers warmly, and determine the reason for their call. Direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel as needed. 

• Message Handling: Record and relay messages accurately, ensuring that all relevant information is documented and communicated prompt

• Customer Support: Provide assistance to callers by answering questions, resolving issues, and offering information about services or products.

• Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and confirmations for clients, ensuring that all details are accurately recorded.     

• Emergency Response: Handle emergency calls by directing them to the appropriate personnel or services, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor during high-pressure situations.     

• Record Keeping: Maintain logs of calls, messages, and actions taken, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accessible

Applicants will be organized, self motivated, must have computer skills. Must be able to show initiative with regards to progression with training, i.e understanding as well as representing our clients. Operator experience is an asset, but we do train. Also applicants should be mature and reliable.

Training:

Training periods are based on applicants ability to understand operator position, and be both comfortable and confident in their ability to properly provide customer service. Upon completing your training period you will be added to a monthly schedule. You will be paid while training.

Position involves shift work: day/evenings/nights
