PETERSON AUTO BODY – DRUMHELLER, AB

Peterson Auto Body in Drumheller is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Red Seal Auto Body Technician to join our experienced team.

Position Details:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Wage: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications
• Benefits: Available after 3 months of employment

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal Journeyman Certification in Auto Body
• Proven experience in auto body repair and refinishing
• Must provide professional references
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Preferred/Asset Qualifications (Optional but Beneficial):

• I-CAR or OEM certifications
• Experience with insurance claims and estimating software (e.g., Mitchell, Audatex)
• Experience working in a DRP (Direct Repair Program) environment
• Familiarity with waterborne paint systems
• Ability to train or mentor apprentices
• First Aid or WHMIS certification

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
